❌ Cancellation Policy – Vlocal4u

At Vlocal4u, we understand that plans can change. Our Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which users or vendors may cancel orders and how such cancellations are handled.
🧑💼 1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations
🥡 For Food Orders:
You may cancel your order within 2 minutes of placing it, provided the restaurant has not started preparing the food.
Once the restaurant begins preparing your order, cancellation is not allowed, and no refund will be issued.
🛒 For Grocery Orders:
You may cancel your order before it is processed or dispatched by the store.
If the order has already been packed or picked up for delivery, cancellation may not be possible, and the refund eligibility will depend on the store’s discretion.
🏪 2. Vendor/Store-Initiated Cancellations
Your order may be cancelled by the vendor or store in the following cases:
Item(s) are out of stock or unavailable.
Store is temporarily closed or unable to fulfill the order.
Invalid or unreachable delivery address or contact number.
Order placed outside serviceable hours or area.
In such cases, the full amount will be refunded to you.
⚠️ 3. Auto-Cancellations by Vlocal4u
We reserve the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:
Fraudulent or suspicious activity detected.
Technical or system issues that prevent processing.
Payment failure or discrepancies.
No delivery partner available for dispatch within a reasonable time.
Refunds for auto-cancelled orders will be initiated automatically.
💵 4. Refunds After Cancellation
If your cancellation is eligible for a refund, the amount will be processed back to your original payment method or as in-app credits within 5–7 business days.
For orders cancelled due to vendor or system errors, full refunds will be provided.
📌 5. Important Notes
Repeated cancellations without valid reasons may result in temporary suspension of your account.
For cash on delivery (COD) orders, no amount is charged in case of valid cancellations.
If the order is prepaid and the cancellation is not eligible, refund requests may be declined.
